Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience working on various communication systems technologies such as fibreoptic transmissions digital trunked radio public address and telephony CCTV surveillance access management PABX and travel information systems preferred.
Experience in implementing railwayrelated projects will be an added advantage.
Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in writing technical proposals and presentations.
Willing to work outside of prime office hours as required.
Selfmotivated and Service oriented.
Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
Able to travel overseas for assignment with a short notice period.
Job Description
We would like to get on board a Telecommunication engineer (or similar) to work inside of the railway communication infrastructure area to develop and deploy communication transport solutions (fixed and radio) for large international railway projects. Main tasks to be performed by the COMMS engineer:
Analysis of project requirements and propose the solutions accordingly.
Development of system technical specifications.
Development of system architectures and integration with 3rd parties systems.
Technical interface with customers and other contractors.
Realization of testing and commissioning works onsite.
Network troubleshooting for wired and wireless systems both.
Technical support to systems once into operation after commissioning.
