Country Manager - Vietnam

Location: Ho Chi Minh city Vietnam.

Our client specialises in Project Forwarding (oversized and heavy cargo lifting and transportation loadout engineering and design industrial relocation) Dangerous Cargo Handling and General Forwarding solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the Ho Chi Minh Office encompassing Sales Operations Finance and HR which comprises approximately 10 staff members.
• Establish annual performance objectives and KPIs in alignment with Dextra Group policy to achieve the companys yearly targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities by expanding the companys customer base nationwide.
• Develop sales strategies and customer portfolios.
• Prepare sales quotations and contracts in accordance with company policy and project requirements.
• Organise followup visits and provide monthly reports on sales activities project status partner cooperation and shortterm development objectives.
• Foster and enhance customer relationships proposing solutions and recommendations using the companys services to secure their selection.
• Increase revenue and margins by developing new business and responding to customer requests.
• Report relevant market information gathered during sales meetings including details on competition projects and pricing.
• Suggest product improvements and/or new products that align with market requirements.
• Control costs and supervise operations administrative functions and related personnel.

Qualifications:

• University Degree or professional qualifications in Freight Forwarding or Logistics.
• At least 10 years of experience in both air and sea freight operations and business development (ideally in Vietnam).
• Strong business acumen with excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer and results orientation.
• Ability to build lead and motivate teams.
• High potential in management and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English both written and spoken.
