As we continue to grow we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our projects and daytoday operations.
Position Overview:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of our painting company ensuring that projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership organizational and problemsolving skills to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the planning execution and completion of all painting projects. Ensure projects are completed on schedule within budget and meet quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Job Site Supervisors painters and subcontractors in addition to our office team. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance skills and performance.
- Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules. Coordinate with clients suppliers and team members to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively including labour materials and equipment. Ensure all resources are used efficiently and projects are adequately staffed.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes. Conduct or assign regular site inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.
- Client Relations: Focus on customer experience through seamless operations. Address any issues or concerns promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety training and enforce safety protocols on job sites.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets. Monitor expenses and financial performance providing regular reports to Franchise Owner.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role preferably in the painting trades or construction industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Solid understanding of budgeting resource allocation and financial management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
