Job Description
On behalf of our global pharmaceutical partner we are seeking a driven HSE Engineer. The purpose of the role is to meet the global and local standards and sustain a safe work environment. In this multifaceted role you will have the opportunity to cooperate with manufacturing and R&D departments while dealing with specialist and generalist projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments for machinery and workplace hazards.
- Evaluate and manage physical risks (radiation vibration electromagnetic fields heavy loads) or chemical hazards (with a focus on CMR substances).
- Carry out safety and health inspections.
- Investigate workplace incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Support safety aspects of projects and investments.
- Perform safety commissioning and preliminary safety checks.
- Coordinate safety reviews (electrical safety forklifts dangerous machines).
- Approve hazardous work permits and oversee contractor activities.
- Manage the site's chemical inventory and safety data sheets.
- Assist in preparing the annual carcinogenic report.
- Assess and manage ergonomic risks (manual handling heavy loads).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering chemistry or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Qualification as a safety engineer or technician.
- Proficiency in English and Hungarian.
- Skilled in using Word Excel and PowerPoint.
