Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Snowflake Developer to join our clients talented team. • The location is in Coppell Texas
• The working schedule for this role is Monday Friday standard working hours hybrid with 3 days on site
• The duration is 6 months as a W2 contractor
• The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
• Holidays are not required

Candidates with Financial Services Industry experience will be preferred over others! This is a temp to hire role. Must reside within a commutable distance of Coppell Texas.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Management and specialized in Analytical data warehouse
• Minimum 3 years hands on experience with Snowflake cloud warehouse and its features
• Good knowledge on cloud AWS architecture and its services
• Experience in creating and analyzing SQL and PL/SQL procedures for data integration
• Developing ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination of Python and Snowflake SQL
• Developing scripts using Unix shell to do Extract and Load data
• Good understanding of logical and physical data models to support analytics and business intelligence
• Experience in creating SQL based processes to build slowly changing dimension and various type of facts
• Experience in Data Lineage Analysis Data Profiling Mapping Integration ETL Validation Cleansing Masking Sub setting Profiling Archiving Purging Virtualization Metadata Management Performing Unit Test System integration test Support UAT
• Involve SQL performance tuning Root causing failures and bifurcating them into different technical issues and resolving them
• Engaged in project using Agile methodology and documentation using Jira Strong verbal and written communication skills.
