Embedded Software Engineer C Embedded ARM - Malmo - Contract

Background:

The client is working with products for process automation industry. More concretely systems that manage the process in e.g. pharmaceutical industries chemical industries or in the energy sector. Technically the systems are composed of IOunits embedded controllers HMIs huge operator control boards cloud connectors digital services and what not.

Description:

We are looking for an embedded software developer to one of the teams in Malm.

The team is working with central middleware software running at the embedded controllers located inside the plants of our customers.

Main taskswill be to develop new middleware embedded software.

As the team is responsible for the complete life cycle the work also includes testing documentation architectural designs etc.

Needs:

• you are an experienced embedded developer proficient in embedded modern C.
• You are selfgoing and ready to design and implement middleware and framework functionality independently as well as in collaboration with teammates.
• As the team is working on communication related software it is a merit if you have experience from protocols from the Industrial domain such as e.g. OPC UA Profinet ModbusTCP MMS etc.
• We are developing on Windows with Visual Studio Azure DevOps and Git.
• Development and debugging are done both on Windows and on target hardware.
• You will not be working with the hardcore bare metal hardware near stuff but experience from embedded development on various architectures e.g. ARM and different operating systems is a must.
• As we operate in a qualitycentric sector experience from working in a regulated industry is a merit too. E.g. within functional safety automotive or med tech.
