Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and manage a team of production personnel responsible for manufacturing precision metal components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production processes exceptional leadership and communication skills and a proven track record of achieving production goals while maintaining high quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a team of production personnel including assigning tasks monitoring performance and providing feedback.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and maintain efficient workflow.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity quality and safety.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Monitor production metrics and report on progress to management.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of production processes.
Train and mentor new employees to develop their skills and knowledge.
Proactively identify and address potential production issues to prevent disruptions.
Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory levels.
Stay uptodate on industry trends and technological advancements in metalworking.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Technology or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a production environment.
Proven ability to lead motivate and develop a team of production personnel.
Strong understanding of production processes quality control measures and safety procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
