We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP) with extensive experience in Oracle SQL databases scripting languages and technical expertise in networking operating systems virtualization storage and security. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of Google Cloud excellent problemsolving abilities and experience in incident management and monitoring dashboard creation.

Responsibilities:

• 8 years of experience in system engineering with a focus on Oracle and SQL databases.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources services and configurations.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure and services particularly Google Cloud.
• Experience in creating automated workflows and process improvements.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with ITIL or other incident management frameworks.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: PowerShell Python Bash Ansible VB SQL and Batch scripting.
• Strong technical expertise in networking operating systems (Windows Linux) virtualization (VMware HyperV) storage and security.
• Proven experience in incident management with excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
• Ability to build and maintain monitoring dashboards using tools like Grafana Prometheus or similar.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problemsolving.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Oracle Google Cloud Microsoft VMware) are a plus.
• Manage and maintain Oracle and SQL databases ensuring high availability performance and security.
• Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell Python Bash Ansible VB SQL and Batch scripting to automate system tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide technical expertise in networking operating systems (Windows Linux) virtualization storage and security.
• Design implement and manage Google Cloud resources services and configurations.
• Lead and manage incident management processes providing excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills to resolve issues promptly.
• Build and maintain monitoring dashboards to provide realtime insights into system performance and health.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design implement and optimize system architectures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations for system security and data protection.
• Document processes procedures and system configurations for knowledgesharing and training purposes.
