Manager Sourcing

Title of function: Sr. Manager/Manager Sourcing (Steel St Steel Machined parts & Subcontracting)

Main Accountabilities:

1. Ensure new Vendor Development (sufficient supplier base) for Steel St Steel Lamination Machined parts & Subcontracting.
2. Ensure on time procurement of material to maintain on time delivery above 95%
3. Ensure all Group KPIs and finalise commodity budget
4. Ensure cost reduction
5. Ensure regular communication with Commodity Manager/Site Manager.
6. Identifying & developing new potential suppliers in above areas for price reduction quality improvement to maintain on time delivery
7. Get quotations from suppliers & analysing it on techno commercial basis & Preparation of comparative price analysis /quotation analysis.
8. Price finalization with effective price negotiations with proper terms & conditions.
9. Updation of standard price and creation of info records for F30 items and Budget activity.

10.Support operative buyer for bottleneck removal Quality & delivery improvement.
11.Coordination with PPC Operations to understand future needs.
12. Inventory management & optimisation at supplier end.
13. Monitor delivery performance of vendors & provide them appropriate planning data & purchase commitment information
14. New supplier development
15. Handling Quality related issues of suppliers.
16. Preparation of payment requirement for various vendors of Pune & Kolhapur division.
17. Updation of ISO documentation
18.Visit to suppliers for Process
