Job Title: Information Technology Engineer Software Lead/Java FullStack Software Engineer

Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Baltimore MD 21224 (Mandatory 100% remote however the resource must reside in District of Columbia Maryland Virginia(DMV)

Description:

Essential Functions:

• Code deploy test and troubleshoot Java services and Angular applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and documentation.
• Perform technical design coding and O&M of existing systems.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Work in a fastpaced environment with changing priorities.

Supervisory Responsibility:

• No direct reports but mentor and guide junior staff.
• May lead a team of matrixed resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in IT or Computer Science or additional 4 years of relevant experience.
• 7 years experience in software development.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

• Communicate technical requirements effectively.
• Proficient in maintaining good working relationships.
• Understand SDLC and integration of complex systems.
• Proficient in programming languages (JavaScript TypeScript Java Python).
• Handson with Java Spring technologies and Angular.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs cloud technologies (AWS Kubernetes) and databases (SQL Oracle MongoDB PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices agile methodologies CI/CD pipelines infrastructure performance monitoring and testfirst practices (TDD/BDD).
• Expertise in CI/CD tools and frameworks code quality and promotion practices.
