Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with urological disorders and conditions.
• Perform surgical procedures such as prostatectomies nephrectomies and cystectomies.
• Consult and collaborate with other medical professionals to determine the best course of treatment for patients.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging to make accurate diagnoses.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients undergoing urological surgeries.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in urological treatments and surgical techniques.
• Train and educate medical students residents and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in research activities and contribute to scientific knowledge in the field of urology.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare staff to ensure highquality multidisciplinary patient care.
• Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families.
• Adhere to all relevant medical and ethical standards in patient care and professional conduct.
• Participate in hospital committees and activities related to quality improvement and patient safety.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of urological care protocols and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• MCh degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a Urology residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
• Board certification in Urology from the Relevant Board of Urology or equivalent certification.
• Valid state medical license to practice as a Urosurgeon.
• Demonstrated surgical proficiency in urological procedures through clinical experience and successful outcomes.
• Strong understanding of urological disorders treatment options and surgical interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
• Ability to analyze complex medical information and make informed decisions.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of urology.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and demanding healthcare environment.
• Adherence to ethical and professional standards in patient care and medical practice.
• Proven track record of contributing to urological research and scholarly activities.
• Ability to prioritize patient safety clinical excellence and positive outcomes.
• Experience in medical education teaching and mentorship is highly desirable.
