What You Will Do

Reporting directly into the Director of Supply Chain and Sales Operations our Sales Operations & Planning Analyst will fulfill a key role on the Supply Chain team as this position will have oversight across multiple areas of supply chain and sales to help drive cross functional alignment and efficiencies. This person will work crossfunctionally with Sales to assist in various activities required to support revenue growth while maintaining trade spend and deductions reporting. Sales forecasting and planning is a critical requirement of this function that directly feeds into business planning and S&OP cycles. The role will be highly analytical and able to run standardized as well as ad hoc analysis for various business needs including event ROI consumer insights sales trend data.

Below are the responsibilities in more detail for this role:

Sales Planning / Forecasting

  • Create and manage the sales planning process working with Sales leads to ensure all inputs are layered in appropriately.
  • Ensure that the different business channels including DTC and B2B are being accurately forecasted based on the unique variables of those channels.
  • Build solid KPIs and forecast accuracy metrics that will continue to improve accuracy.
  • Manage the sales planning tool Vividly including functionality and data integrity for Quinn point person for all troubleshooting related to uploads reporting outages system maintenance (customers pricing etc)

Sales Ops

  • Own Customer Item Management Platforms like 1WorldSync Brandbank IXONE Kroger Portal.
  • Assist with customer setups of all new items in a timely manner as established by sales leads in compliance with lead times of each platform
  • Ownership of the company Price List that includes list pricing product specifications and other customer required data fields ensuring accuracy and timely publishes when changes are made.
  • Assist with miscellaneous customer requests by coordinating with the necessary Sales and Supply Chain contacts.
  • Facilitate the New Customers Setup/onboarding in coordination with Finance to ensure seamless onboarding.

Sales Data Reporting

  • Own/supervise weekly and monthly reporting on both Vividly and ongoing consumption sales data (Custom Reports SPINS Nielsen Amazon)
  • Running Shiptoconsumption analysis to alert Leadership of an inventory builds
  • Work includes assisting with building the data and category trends for the sales and marketing departments so they can build a sales and brand story.
  • Support Finance in calculating the revenue for brokerage commissions.

Trade Spend & Deductions Support

  • Help facilitate the monthly Revenue & Trade Review process including Post Promo Analysis for top accounts (ROI) and monthly trade reconciliation with finance.
  • Participate in the Deductions Review process with Sales and Accounting.
  • Assist in initial look at Trade Spend roll up monthly and analyze impact to customer P&L.

Qualifications:

  • Hybrid role in Boulder CO. Remote okay outside of Boulder/Denver metro area in MT and CT time zones.
  • 35 years of Supply Chain Sales or Sales Ops experience in CPG related fields
  • Highly organized with excellent followthrough
  • Ability to proactively manage and prioritize many details with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills with advance MS Excel skills is a must
  • Process oriented and has the ability to improve and drive efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
  • Strong attention to detail sense of urgency and the ability to be highly flexible in a constant changing environment will be critical to this role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (present ideas effectively actively listen and work across functional boundaries)
  • Professional mature individual who possesses strict ethical standards

Benefits

  • $70k – $85K dependent on experience
