Tasks

Youll Be Doing

• Create engaging and informative videos for our YouTube channel
• Learn the fundamentals of video editing software (training provided!)
• Assist with brainstorming and developing captivating video concepts
• Conduct an inventory of our existing A/V material and support us in identifying gaps to build a stock library of footage to share with journalists and influencers
• Stay current on YouTube trends and best practices to maximize reach

Requirements

Were looking for someone who:

• Possesses a creative spark and a talent for crafting compelling narratives
• Is a fast learner with a thirst for knowledge especially in the realm of science
• Embraces challenges and isnt afraid to experiment with new ideas
• Has a curious mind and loves to ask insightful questions
• Communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
• Thrives in a collaborative environment and brings a positive attitude

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with video editing software (e.g. Final Cut Pro Adobe Premiere Pro)
• A solid understanding of YouTube analytics
• Oncamera experience (but not required!)
