Product UX Designer

GlassFlow is a Pythonbased data streaming infrastructure challenging legacy technologies like Apache Kafka. GlassFlow offers a serverless and productionready setup that empowers everyone in your data team to build and transform eventdriven data pipelines.

GlassFlow is an early stage VC backed startup from Berlin founded by data experts with decades of experience. GlassFlow is building a category defining infrastructure product from ground up and are supported by world class tech angels like Heikki Nousiainen (CTO Aiven) Thomas Dohmke (CEO GitHub) Sergei Sokolenko (ex Snowflake Google).

Tasks

As the first design hire youll get to lay the design foundations of GlassFlow. As a product/UX designer you will be bringing the voice of the user to life in product and design by conducting user research interviews and surveys and translating them into sitemaps user flows customer journey maps wireframes mockups and highfidelity prototypes. Your design decisions will directly impact the user experience and overall success of GlassFlow.

You will collaborate directly with our CTO and engineering team and work closely with our lead frontend engineer. You will join a small team solving challenging problems in the field of Data engineering and building a product that will be used by developers across the world.

Requirements

Previous experience that could be helpful

• 4 years of experience as a product or UX designer ideally for a dev tool product
• Ability to conduct user testing and knowledge of user research methods
• Proficiency in Figma or comparable prototyping tools
• Efficient communicator with experience working with crossfunctional teams including software engineers
• Worked in fast growing environments or early stage startups
