Our client Pentapharm AG part of the nutrition cluster of the DSM group is a Swiss SME with a longstanding tradition as an innovative and reliable supplier of active ingredients for the personal care pharmaceutical and haemostasis diagnostics industries.

On behalf of our client we are currently looking for a:
Technical Sales Specialist (m/f/d) Coagulation Diagnostics

Location: Aesch BL

Position

We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Technical Sales Specialist to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical proficiency business acumen and customercentric focus within the field of coagulation diagnostics. As the Technical Sales Specialist you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth fostering client relationships and spearheading technical innovation within the coagulation diagnostics market.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in coagulation diagnostics
  • Utilize extensive technical knowledge and product expertise to effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions to customers
  • Oversee technical requirements and validation processes for coagulation diagnostics products ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and customer expectations
  • Be able to communicate at a high scientific level with our customers development departments and with key opinion leaders
  • Collaborate closely with our R&D team and the Key Account Manager Diagnostics to identify market trends and customer needs address technical inquiries and drive product adoption
  • Lead crossfunctional teams to drive product development initiatives and contribute to ongoing innovation within the coagulation diagnostics field

Qualification & Competences

  • Masters degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline; advanced degrees are preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales within the coagulation diagnostics industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and cultivating longterm client relationships
  • Strong understanding of coagulation diagnostics reagents and/or diagnostics kits
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Fluency in English is required. Additional languages spoken within the European region are a plus
