We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our Acute Care team.

Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) are health care professionals who evaluate and treat patients with speech language cognitivecommunication and/or swallowing disorders or impairments in individuals or all ages from infants to the elderly. Speech Language Pathologist Therapist performs all duties including technical skills in screening evaluation assessment program planning intervention and preventative care at the full performance level.

Responsibilities:

• Perform initial and ongoing comprehensive evaluation including but not limited to collecting subjective and objective data analysis of data and creation of treatment plan
  
• Administers interventions consistent with a treatment plan based on evidencebased best practice provider protocol and governing standards
• Follows policies and procedures in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements
• Document care based on standards of practice patient acuity and/or clinical priorities
• Maintain professional relationships and convey relevant information to other members of the healthcare team within the facility and any applicable referral agencies

Must Haves:

• Valid license or provisional permit to practice speech therapy in the state of Idaho
  
• Current CPR/first responder certification
