Display HW Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. HW performance validation/characterization support and execution

2. Support vendor communication and ensure requirements to vendor are

met.

3. Support builds in region for new hardware bringup and debug

4. Communicate and present project status to crossfunctional teams

5. Perform failure analysis on electrical mechanical and optical issues.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Masters degree in electrical engineering or relevant major with 5 years of working experience in display/touch industry

2. Enthusiastic about learning and developing new technologies

3. Hands on experience of display bring up/validation/debugging

4. Understanding of sub structure of display panel driving from input to

output

5. Handson experience of electrical measurement

6. Familiarity with MIPI SPI and I2C interfaces

7. Understanding of PCB/FPC schematics and layout design

8. Strong electrical engineering fundamentals in EE analog/digital circuits

Preferred Requirements:

1. Ability to perform failure analysis using scientific method and

experimental process

2. Experience of design and validation for touch driver/controller IC

3. Experienced FPGA/MCU platform setup and programing

4. Understanding of the system to drive display devices

5. Experienced in driving complicated crossfunctional projects

6. Experience in firmware development (knowledge of I2C SPI and other

protocols) in data acquisition & measurement system is preferred.
