Registrar Emergency Medicine

We are seeking Emergency Medicine Registrar to join this dynamic Emergency Department, working in a General Public Hospital located in the rapidly growing suburbs of Melbourne.

Recruiting Australian Residents/ International Medical Graduates holding a current valid working visa and AHPRA. The ED sees a varied case mix of approximately 45,000 patients per year, including 20% paediatrics. There is a co-located 10-bed short stay unit managed by the ED.

The ED is ACEM accredited for 12 months advanced training in emergency medicine. Registrars are well supported by Emergency Physicians and there is an active fellowship teaching and exam preparation programme.

The Hospital:
This is a General Public Hospital that services include surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, renal dialysis, emergency, mental health, rehabilitation, aged and palliative care. The hospital has recently undergone significant expansion with the opening of it s new intensive care unit, additional operating theatres and the opening of two new wards, taking the total number of beds to 298.

Skills & Qualifications required:

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Suitable level of experience in Emergency Medicine to work at the level of a Registrar
• Must have valid APHRA medical registration or Competent authority or passed your AMC clinical Exam.
• Full time or Part Time based positions are available
