Senior Accountant German GAAP

Work location: Warsaw (Hybrid)

FULLTIME

Reports to: Head of Accounting

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Play a key role to post journals and reconcile bank statements
• Be responsible for the control and reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts
• Work in cooperation with other team members in daily operational work
• Be responsible for the preparation of payment lists

WHAT YOU BRING IN

• An academic degree in accounting or a comparable education/qualification
• Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
• Several years of practical experience in financial accounting including both General Ledger and Accounts Payables functions
• Knowledge of accounting and accounting principles of German GAAP as well as general ledger and accounts payables processes
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (Oracle Netsuite would be an advantage)
• Exceptional attention to detail excellent time management and problem solving skills
• Experience in ecommerce sector would be a big asset
• Handson mentality strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Proficiency in MS Office package especially MS Excel
• Open to development and innovation
