Job Description

42 Wolfsburg/Berlin is a disruptive higher education NGO training up to 1200 students to become cuttingedge software engineers in a practicebased peerlearning environment.

The role: As our Employer Relations & Careers Manager you will be responsible for enabling 42 Wolfsburg and 42 Berlin students to seamlessly transition into the tech job market and enable our partners to hire the talent they need. You will work closely with our industry partners to shape our cocurricular learning offering.

  • Full time (40h per week) preferred but can be discussed
  • This role is split 50/50 between our campuses in Wolfsburg and Berlin so you will be expected to work on site in Wolfsburg and Berlin 2 days a week each. The remaining day is flexible (WOB/BER or home office). We will provide you with a BahnCard100
  • 1 year fixed term contract to begin with but with the intention to extend into a permanent role
  • Start date ASAP
  • The salary range is between EUR 36.000 and 60.000 per annum your salary offer will be based on years of directly relevant experience (our internal salary formula applies)

Tasks

Build and maintain strong relationships with our industry partners to

  • Implement extracurricular activities together with our partners (hackathons workshops keynotes etc.) to enhance our students skills
  • Acquire internship opportunities for our students

Own and implement the career development strategy for our students

  • Ensure that advanced students are job ready and have the skills employers need
  • Enable companies to attract our talent (e.g. through job fairs our job portal etc.)

Document and analyse the impact of your work and apply a data driven approach to maximising our impact.

Requirements

Essential

  • At least 1 year of relevant professional experience
  • Good insight into the German tech career landscape and new technologies
  • Confidence in dealing with corporate partners and a range of other stakeholders
  • Curiosity to engage with our student and partner communities in Wolfsburg and Berlin
  • Talent for networking
  • Fluent professional communication in English and German written and spoken
  • Proactive outgoing and flexible personality willingness to take ownership
  • Alignment with our values (inclusive and open minded)
  • Willingness to travel between Wolfsburg and Berlin (BahnCard 100 will be provided)
  • Right to live and work in Germany
