Job Description
- Collecting large datasets from diverse banking systems and platforms within the wholesale banking unit.
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data collected and managing data dictionary/data catalog effectively.
- Performing detailed data analysis to extract meaningful insights relevant to wholesale banking operations.
- Utilizing statistical tools and methodologies to analyze data and forecast banking trends.
- Creating dynamic reports and visualizations to represent analysis findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
- Ensuring reports are accurate, timely, and cater to the specific needs of the Transaction Banking unit.
- Transforming data into actionable intelligence that can support decision-making processes and strategic planning.
- Identifying patterns and trends in complex data sets beneficial to wholesale banking strategies.
- Working closely with other departments such as Risk Management, Finance, and Sales to provide analytical support.
- Communicating complex data-related information to non-technical stakeholders in an understandable way.
- Continuously seeking opportunities to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Integrating new technologies and data analysis techniques to enhance the efficiency of the Transaction Banking unit.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies related to data management.
- Recognizing and analyzing potential risks in banking data and reporting them to the appropriate parties.
- Engaging in ad hoc projects and initiatives as required by the Transaction Banking unit, as required.
- Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in taking on additional tasks that support the division's objectives.
- Staying abreast of industry best practices in data analysis and transaction banking operations.
- Participating in professional development opportunities and contributing to the training of colleagues when necessary.
- Introducing new ideas and practices for enhancing the data analysis capabilities of the division
