Project Manager - Solar Power Solutions

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager for a leading Solar Power Solutions provider. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning execution and completion of solar energy projects ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution

• Plan and schedule 20 to 30 projects at a time keeping in mind client expectations site constraints & INC teams capabilities
• Oversee the execution of rooftop residential solar projects through a team of site supervisors ensuring adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
• Monitor project progress identify potential risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.

Team Management

• Manage a team of site supervisors providing guidance support and performance feedback.
• Scout & onboard new INC teams. Provide requisite training guidance & handholding on company processes & safety procedures.
• Coordinate work assignments monitor progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment encouraging teamwork and effective communication.
• Identify the right training for the team members every quarter with the view of enhancing team skills and overall team productivity.

Budget Management

• Track project budgets as per project costing ensuring that projects are completed within planned financial parameters.
• Monitor project expenses review cost reports and implement costcontrol measures.
• Collaborate with the finance department to track project costs invoices and payments.

Collaboration with Departments:

• Liaise effectively with the design head to ensure site design documents are updated & available as per actual site conditions well before execution.
• Collaborate on procurement activities vetting & validating BOMs STAD/ GA Drawings Electrical participating in INC Team Biddings ensuring highquality material & INC teams are chosen for large sites.
• Communicate project requirements & ensure material availability on site by coordinating with Purchase Warehouse & Logistics departments.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in engineering renewable energy or a related field. A masters degree would be a plus. PMP certification would be a plus.
• Proven experience as a Solar Project Manager specifically with rooftop projects.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Solid understanding of solar energy systems installation practices and relevant regulations.
• Familiarity with budget management and costcontrol techniques.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency & experience using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Problemsolving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
