AZ- Point of Care Coordinator

Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a Medical Laboratory Technician/Point of Care Coordinator. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Assignment Start Date: 7/29/2024

13 weeks Days 8hour shift 40 hours weekly

The Point of Care Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of the laboratory Point of Care program in compliance with regulatory requirements policy and procedures and the hospitals goal of quality patient care. The Point of Care program includes laboratory tests that fall under the Waived and Provider Performed Microscopy (PPMP) categories of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) standards. The position is located in a laboratory that provides 24hour coverage with periodic visits to ancillary testing sites.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Three (3 ) years of documented work experience in a clinical laboratory performing at minimum moderate complexity testing is required.

Education:

• Associate degree in laboratory science chemical physical biological science or health professionals is required

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• A current unexpired Medical Laboratory Technician certification from a nationally recognized certification agency. Certification must remain unexpired and in good standing for the duration of employment.

EMR System: Allscripts experience preferred

Shift: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm; the incumbent works day shift and occasional weekends oncall or overtime.

Vaccinations: COVID19 vaccination is MANDATORY and workers must be fully vaccinated 2 weeks before the start date. Declination is considered for Medical reasons ONLY with appropriate documentation and is subject to confirmation & review.

ORIENTATION: Every two (2) weeks only.
