Security Support Officer

1. Access Control: Managing access to the facility including screening visitors issuing badges and monitoring entry and exit points.
2. Patrols: Conducting regular patrols of the facility and its perimeter to detect and deter security breaches.
3. Incident Response: Responding to security incidents such as alarms trespassers or disturbances and taking appropriate action.
4. Surveillance: Monitoring CCTV cameras and other surveillance systems to identify potential security threats.
5. Lock and Key Management: Managing the facilitys lock and key system including issuing keys changing locks and monitoring access.
6. Security Policy Enforcement: Enforcing the facilitys security policies and procedures including escorting visitors monitoring sensitive areas and
controlling access to confidential information.
7. Risk Assessment: Identifying and assessing potential security risks and implementing measures to mitigate them.
8. Emergency Response: Participating in emergency response procedures such as evacuations fires or natural disasters.
9. Communication: Coordinating with law enforcement emergency services and other stakeholders to ensure effective security and response.
10. Training and Awareness: Providing security training and awareness programs for employees and visitors.
11. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws regulations and industry standards related to physical security.
12. Reporting: Preparing and submitting security reports incident reports and other documents as required.
