Position Description:

• We are currently seeking candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in AutoCAD for the job position.
• Additionally it would be beneficial if the candidates have completed enclosed space training CPR training and first aid.
• While these qualifications are not mandatory they would be advantageous for candidates who may need to visit job sites.
• We prefer that they are capable CAD Technicians with experience in AutoCAD 2D design along with some GIS experience.
• As a CAD technician they will collaborate with the engineering team on designs. Work direction will be given by the project manager with respect to implementing the approach to drawing the design.
• The CAD technician will work as part of a small team with other technicians and engineers.
• He or she will be assigned various projects under the guidance of the assigned design engineer.
• The standard working day will be dynamic.
• The technician will need to be flexible with priorities based on demand.
