Scope of the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented medical examiner and legal drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a medical background ideally as a doctor nurse or nurse practitioner and will be responsible for drafting comprehensive medicallegal reports. This role requires a deep understanding of medical terminology and legal documentation as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with our medical team

Duties and responsibilities:

• Draft detailed and accurate medicallegal reports based on patient evaluations and medical records.
• Ensure all reports adhere to legal standards and are compliant with relevant regulations.
• Work closely with the medical team to gather necessary information for report preparation.
• Communicate effectively with doctors nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure accuracy and completeness of reports.
• Conduct thorough research on medical conditions treatments and legal requirements as needed.
• Analyze medical data and case histories to support the drafting of reports.
• Review and edit draft reports for clarity accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure all reports are free from errors and meet the highest quality standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
• Adhere to all privacy laws and regulations regarding patient data.

Requirements:

• Medical degree or certification as a nurse or nurse practitioner.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
• Proven experience in writing medicallegal reports or similar documentation.
• Experience in allergy asthma and dermatology fields is a plus.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret and summarize complex medical information.
• Proficiency in English; additional Spanish language skills are a plus.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
