Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain PostgreSQL databases
- Ensure database performance security and data integrity
- Optimize database queries and indexing
- Manage database backups and restores
- Troubleshoot database issues and perform problem resolution
- Collaborate with developers and other teams to ensure database requirements are met
- Stay uptodate with new PostgreSQL features and best practices
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration
- Strong knowledge of database design normalization and querying
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with other database management systems (e.g. MySQL Oracle)
- Knowledge of database modeling tools (e.g. EntityRelationship diagrams)
- Familiarity with cloudbased databases (e.g. Amazon RDS Google Cloud SQL
database,postgresql,databases,design,mysql,oracle
