ABAP developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design code and test complex programs in ABAP for SAP modules.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in programs and provide efficient solutions.
• Develop and enhance reports interfaces forms and workflows within SAP.
• Participate in full lifecycle implementation projects including analyzing designing and implementing solutions.
• Conduct performance tuning maintenance and optimization of existing programs.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration with various modules and applications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other team members.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and recommend improvements and best practices.
• Document technical specifications unit test plans and user manuals for developed programs.
• Adhere to coding standards best practices and compliance requirements in all development activities.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of technical architecture and design for SAP solutions.
• Collaborate with external service providers and vendors for solution delivery and support.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• 68 years of handson experience in ABAP development within the SAP environment.
• Proficiency in SAP modules such as SD MM FI or CO.
• Strong knowledge of SAP development tools technologies and methodologies.
• Experience with SAP HANA SAP Fiori and SAP Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Proven expertise in ABAP Objects BAPIs RFCs and Web Services.
• Ability to analyze business processes and provide innovative technical solutions.
• Excellent problemsolving analytical and communication skills.
• Certifications in SAP ABAP development will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality solutions.
• Knowledge of integration technologies such as SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI is desirable.
• Experience in working on international SAP implementations or rollouts is a plus.
• Good understanding of database concepts and SQL scripting for SAP HANA.
