About the Company:
Myna Mahila Foundation works to improve women s agency shifts social norms and empowers women to meet their full potential. It focuses on women in urban slums and has three verticals: (1) Myna Health focuses on improving women s sexual and reproductive health (SRH) outcomes with a reach of 1.5 million women. (2) Myna Employ helps provide job opportunities to women through digital work. (3) Myna Research gathers primary data on women s agency employment and health outcomes in urban slums and runs evaluations including randomized control trials to highlight women s persistent problems and demonstrate solutions for scale. Across all verticals Myna uses the MHealth application and its features to reduce the digital divide provide access to information and connect women.

Myna Mahila is an internationally renowned awardwinning and technologydriven NGO and its work has been supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Stanford University Queens Commonwealth Trust Microsoft ONGC Reliance Foundation Stanford University and MIT Solve among others. About the Role:
The Communications Associate at MMF plays a pivotal role in supporting communication efforts particularly in content coordination social media operations internal communication and assistance with various communication collaterals. This role involves collaborating closely with program leaders managing social media content facilitating internal operations and providing administrative support as needed.

Your responsibilities will include:
1. Content Coordination with Programmatic Team:
  • Collaborate with program leaders to gather data narratives and visuals to enrich storytelling and content delivery.
  • Conduct interviews and gather firsthand accounts from beneficiaries staff and partners.
  • Capture highquality photos and videos that represent program impact ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines.
  • Train staff related on social media practices and effective and quality collection of case studies.
2. Social Media Operations:
  • Draft social media content ensure timely posting of graphics and manage direct messages and collaboration requests.
  • Create content for each social media platform on a weekly basis and submit for review inclusive of captions and hashtags by every Friday (latest Monday)
  • Analyze trends and metrics of ongoing campaigns on a monthly basis and create action plan to maintain alignment with strategy
  • Assist in creating social media content drafts and ideation for monthly calendars.
  • Metric sheet for tracking social media analytics and present it during the management meeting.
3. Internal Communication:
  • Establish a centralized photo repository or database to organize and categorize photos based on programs themes and usage rights.
  • Create and circulate internal communications documents including birthday creatives and hiring materials.
  • Utilize project management tools to manage monthly communication tasks and projects.
  • Manage tech and billing for organizational platforms and maintain reminders for payments.
4. Communication Collaterals:
  • Support in content creation for various materials including the annual report and monthly newsletter.
  • Assist in compiling data success stories and statistics for communication collaterals.
  • Apply creativity to showcase impact through grassroots perspectives.
5. Website Development:
  • Conduct secondary research on website content creation.
  • Assist in coordinating with website vendors and ensuring programrelated elements are captured.
6. Administrative Support:
  • Provide assistance with administrative tasks assigned by the head of operations.

What we are looking for:
  • Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing Journalism or related field.
  • 12 years of experience in communications public relations or related roles preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content for various audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms content management systems and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willing to travel among other offices and site locations in Myna s offices based in urban slum settings
