About the Company:
Myna Mahila Foundation works to improve women s agency shifts social norms and empowers women to meet their full potential. It focuses on women in urban slums and has three verticals: (1) Myna Health focuses on improving women s sexual and reproductive health (SRH) outcomes with a reach of 1.5 million women. (2) Myna Employ helps provide job opportunities to women through digital work. (3) Myna Research gathers primary data on women s agency employment and health outcomes in urban slums and runs evaluations including randomized control trials to highlight women s persistent problems and demonstrate solutions for scale. Across all verticals Myna uses the MHealth application and its features to reduce the digital divide provide access to information and connect women.

Myna Mahila is an internationally renowned awardwinning and technologydriven NGO and its work has been supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Stanford University Queens Commonwealth Trust Microsoft ONGC Reliance Foundation Stanford University and MIT Solve among others. About the Role:
The Senior Manager for Communications at MMF plays a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies to enhance the organizations visibility brand image and stakeholder engagement. This role involves leading a team of communication professionals managing various communication channels and ensuring alignment with the organizations goals and objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:
1. Communications Strategy Creation and Documentation:
  • Develop strategies guidelines and implementation plans for social media engagement branding and programmatic content collection.
  • Prepare platformspecific strategies and monthly social media calendars aligned with organizational goals.
  • Create and curate content for social media platforms analyze campaign metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Manage collaborative requests for campaigns and influencers consistent with monthly strategy goals.
  • Develop branding guidelines and ensure standardization across all materials and communications.
2. Communication Collaterals:
  • Manage the content coordination and quality of various materials including the annual report and monthly newsletter.
  • Create and oversee the production of materials such as pamphlets brochures and pitch decks for programs.
  • Develop comprehensive timelines and project plans for the annual report coordinating with relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Write edit and proofread clear engaging narratives for communication materials.
3. Website Development:
  • Ensure the successful launch of the new MMF website.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors create wireframes develop content and test website features.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards for website development.
4. External Media Management:
  • Coordinate with external vendors and pitch MMF stories to media outlets.
  • Manage media inquiries contact database and partnership leads.
  • Develop and update media kits regularly to support external communications efforts.
5. Team Management:
  • Manage junior communications personnel and parttime content writers.
  • Oversee daytoday tasks content coordination and social media posting.
  • Hire and manage graphic designers photographers videographers and content writers for specific projects and events.

What we are looking for:
  • Master s degree in Communications Marketing Journalism or related field
  • Proven experience (5 years) in communications public relations or related roles preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms content management systems and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content for various audiences.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools website development platforms and media relations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities with a collaborative and resultsoriented approach.
  • Willing to travel among other offices and site locations in Myna s offices based in urban slum settings
