Job Description

Overview:

The Human Resource Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the HR team in various administrative tasks and initiatives. This role is essential in assisting with recruitment onboarding employee relations and HR projects ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the HR department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment activities such as job posting resume screening and scheduling interviews
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires including document management and orientation coordination
  • Participate in HRIS data entry and maintenance
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs
  • Assist with employee engagement activities and events
  • Support HR projects related to policy development HR initiatives and compliance
  • Participate in creating and maintaining HRrelated documents and records
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration tasks
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide support for HRrelated issues
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and trends
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating HRrelated meetings and events
  • Contribute to the maintenance of HR files databases and reports
  • Support other administrative tasks and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint
  • Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Understanding of HR principles practices and employment laws
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic knowledge of HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) is a plus
  • Proactive and selfmotivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute
  • Previous internship or work experience in HR is preferred
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes and tools is advantageous
  • Ability to adapt to a fastpaced and dynamic work environment
  • Familiarity with HR best practices and industry trends
