Anaesthesia consultant 2 days in a week for Nangloi Delhi location

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Administering anesthesia for surgical and nonsurgical procedures
• Assessing and monitoring patients before during and after anesthesia
• Collaborating with surgeons physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan patient care
• Responding to emergency situations and providing critical care anesthesia
• Managing and alleviating pain for patients in various medical settings
• Supervising and training junior medical staff in anesthesia techniques
• Contributing to anesthesia policy development and quality improvement initiatives
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical audits
• Ensuring compliance with anesthesia and medication administration protocols
• Supporting patient and family education on anesthesia procedures and risks
• Documenting patient care activities and maintaining accurate medical records
• Staying updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and equipment
• Adhering to ethical professional and legal standards in anesthesia practice
• Participating in oncall and weekend coverage as per the schedule
• Providing consultation and recommendations for anesthesiarelated cases

Required Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Anesthesiology
• Valid medical license to practice as an Anesthesia Consultant in Delhi
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in anesthesia and perioperative care
• Proven expertise in administering general regional and local anesthesia
• Advanced certification in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine
• Excellent understanding of pain management techniques and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex anesthesia cases with precision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams
• Commitment to maintaining patient safety and comfort during anesthesia procedures
• Sound knowledge of anesthesiarelated equipment medications and monitoring devices
• Experience in teaching and mentoring medical residents and fellows
• Ability to adapt to changing clinical environments and emergency situations
• Evidence of continuous professional development and participation in research activities
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and clinical documentation
