Position Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Analyst to join the existing Industrial Air Quality Business Unit team in our Power & Industrial (P&I) Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring delivery dates with the different manufacturing plants in the company for the scheduling of shipments and deliveries in a timely manner for national and international customer orders.

Position Responsibilities:

• Logistics quotation with suppliers (national and international).
• Negotiation with different national logistics forwarders and providers.
• Preparation of requisitions in the ERP system for requests from national and international logistics providers.
• Monitoring of delivery dates with the different plants of the company for the coordination of shipments and timely delivery with customers.
• Search for new logistics providers.
• Elaboration of import instructions to the customs agent in Laredo.
• Management and documentation of imports and exports.
• Preparation of import expense accounts.
• Preparation in the ERP system of all national and international merchandise receipts in the virtual warehouse.

Person Specification:

Education Qualifications and Affiliations

Essential

• Bachelor on International Commerce International Relations International Business or related degree.
• English spoken written reading & listening (medium high level)

Experience

Essential

• At least 3 years relevant experience in a similar role role with a demonstrated track record of success working within an within an international company business
• Intermediate business English language
• Knowledge of international trade terms
• Knowledge of technical and documentary aspects of customs and logistics
• Intermediate Office parcel handling
