Transport Controller

Tasks

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods and vehicles to ensure timely delivery.
• Assign routes and schedules to drivers based on operational requirements.
• Monitor vehicle movements and track deliveries to ensure adherence to schedules.
• Communicate effectively with drivers dispatchers and clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities including fuel usage mileage and driver hours.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Evaluate and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service to maintain client satisfaction.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Transport Controller Logistics Coordinator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of transportation operations and logistics processes.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in transportation management software and MS Office Suite.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
• Problemsolving ability and attention to detail.
• Availability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends as needed.
