Job Description

Skills: Civil Litigation Trial Advocacy Legal Analysis 1 year experience in tort litigation and an active NV bar license is mandatory

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the NV bar association
• At least 1 year of experience in tort litigation
• Strong research and writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Prior experience in a law firm or legal setting is preferred but not required

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
• Draft legal documents including pleadings motions and contracts
• Assist in preparing for trials hearings and depositions
• Review and analyze documents for discovery purposes
• Communicate with clients opposing counsel and court personnel
• Attend court proceedings and assist with trial preparation
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervising attorneys
