Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Sales Representative to join our team in driving sales of building materials to projectbased clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction sales a proven track record of managing projects and the ability to cultivate relationships with contractors architects and developers.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect potential clients in the construction industry including contractors architects developers and project managers.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through project completion including understanding client needs preparing proposals and negotiating contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate project estimation timely delivery and excellent customer service.
- Provide product knowledge and technical expertise to clients recommending solutions that meet their project requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decisionmakers and influencers within client organizations.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business development.
- Achieve sales targets and goals as established by management.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts ensuring accurate and timely communication of sales activities and pipeline status.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project sales within the building materials or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and building materials including technical specifications and applications.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive and resultsoriented approach.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Engineering or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
