Senior Attorney- Real Estate Litigation

Excellent National Law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate litigation with a strong background in commercial litigation. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation and courtroom skills who can handle complex legal matters with confidence and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in real estate litigation matters including but not limited to disputes involving property ownership lease agreements land use zoning construction defects and title issues.
• Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial including discovery motions and appeals.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings motions briefs and settlement agreements.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights obligations and risks in real estate transactions and disputes.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
• Collaborate with other attorneys paralegals and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of relevant laws regulations and industry trends.
• Participate in business development activities including client meetings networking events and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the state bar.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate litigation with a strong preference for candidates with commercial litigation experience.
• Proven track record of successfully handling complex litigation matters.
• Exceptional analytical research and writing skills.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods.
• Familiarity with local state and federal real estate laws and regulations.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
