Excellent National Law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate litigation with a strong background in commercial litigation. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation and courtroom skills who can handle complex legal matters with confidence and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in real estate litigation matters including but not limited to disputes involving property ownership lease agreements land use zoning construction defects and title issues.
- Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial including discovery motions and appeals.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings motions briefs and settlement agreements.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights obligations and risks in real estate transactions and disputes.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
- Collaborate with other attorneys paralegals and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of relevant laws regulations and industry trends.
- Participate in business development activities including client meetings networking events and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the state bar.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate litigation with a strong preference for candidates with commercial litigation experience.
- Proven track record of successfully handling complex litigation matters.
- Exceptional analytical research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
