Senior Staff Accountant

Job Overview:

Stardom is seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general accounting financial reporting and analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations and financial statements.
• Assist with the monthend and yearend closing processes.
• Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for significant variances.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Coordinate and support the annual audit process.
• Maintain and update fixed asset schedules.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP or similar).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
