Job Description

Key job characteristics:

  • Location: Berlin
  • Working mode: onsite
  • German and English required

Dear Applicant for one of our clients big company operating on banking sector we are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer.


Responsibilities:

  • Designing the further expansion of OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and support the rollout of the CI/CD platform.
  • Controling the introduction and further development of interfaces and components of our modern environment.
  • Advising our customers inhouse on the optimal use of the platform as part of consulting onboarding and ongoing support.
  • Ensuring a stable highly available and secure operation of our components that ensure the banks critical processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in the field of IT telecommunications or banking or a comparable qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience preferably in banking sector.
  • Experience and very good understanding of Kubernetes/RedHat Openshift Docker Container Linux.
  • Good knowledge of the relevant platforms GitLab Nexus/ArgoCD Ansible or Unix shell scripting to the team.
  • Familiarity with IT processes and ITILv3 and topics such as host client/server databases workflow control (nice to have!)
  • Proficiency in German and good command of English
  • EU citizenship
