    You will be responsible for establishing infrastructure to support our inhouse services automating operations developing tools and creating mechanisms to assist developers. In your role as a software engineer you will contribute to improving the development efficiency and reliability of the services we provide.

    • Establishing mechanisms to improve development efficiency.
    • An approach to observability.
    • Emergency response.
    • Capacity planning.
    • Maintenance of SLIs/SLOs.
    • Management of error budgets.
    • Efficiency through automation.
    • Designing system architecture with reliability in mind.

    Recent Actions and Activities: Initially as we are in the startup phase our main focus is on building the organization. In particular we are working on setting up our documentation environment various tasks and streamlining onboarding in discussions with team members. Given our limited team size we need to be careful not to overextend our efforts as were in the process of establishing the organization.

    Regarding SRE tasks we are currently prioritizing microservices. As more members join we plan to expand to other services once we have achieved stability.

    Examples of Actions Taken:

    • Creation of automated operation tools to reduce operational workload and streamline prerelease processes.
    • Introduction of APM to existing services for performance improvement and the addition of features to enhance performance and reliability.
    • Establishment of a service mesh for microservices.

    • Practical experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or equivalent experience as a fullstack engineer.
    • Experience in web programming and software development.

  • Remote work: You can choose to come to the office at least 3 times a week or be fully remote depending on the teams policy.

Annual Salary:JPY

  • Based on experience ability and previous work experience
    • Pay raise opportunity once a year (April)
