    • We plan develop sell and operate games and digital services for home gaming consoles PCs and smart devices.
    • We expand series with strong intellectual property (IP) such as the Sonic and Yakuza under the Sega brand as well as titles like Puyo Puyo Shin Megami Tensei and Persona under the Atlas brand.
    • Globally we have over 16 development and sales locations enabling us to create unique content tailored to local needs and distribute it worldwide.

    • Our arcade game business involves the development manufacturing and sale of a diverse product lineup including video games like network games prize machines like UFO Catcher and medal games such as horse racing bingo and pushers.
    • We also engage in merchandising planning development production and sales of character products for prizes lotteries and overseas retail.

Roles and Responsibility

  For the new SEGA legendary title launch we are recruiting for the roles of Director/Producer to lead core game design and overall project management.

  Director Responsibilities (Example Tasks):

  • Creation of project proposals Game Design Documents (GDD) and definition of game requirements.
  • Establishing milestones and a comprehensive project schedule ensuring adherence.
  • Assessing and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
  • Building and managing the development team structure and environment.
  • Driving team development forward.

  Producer Responsibilities (Example Tasks):

  • Formulating project strategies setting policies and developing business plans.
  • Overseeing game production and project management.
  • Developing strategies policies and structures for operations including budget forecasts and organizational setup.
  • Devising marketing and promotion strategies.
  • Planning and negotiating agreements with domestic and international stakeholders both within and outside the company.

Minimum Requirements

  • Over 10 years of experience in developing console (CS) titles.
  • Experience as a Director Art Director or Lead Planner for at least 3 years.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • For nonnative Japanese speakers proficiency equivalent to JLPT N1 is required.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in art production/direction for RPG titles.
  • Seasoned veteran with significant experience in creative roles.

Annual Salary: 7M 13M JPY Based on experience ability and previous work experience

• Salary revision: Once a year
• Bonus: Twice a year (June December)
