Senior QS - New Construction Projects

We are seeking an experienced Senior QS to join our remote team and contribute to our continued success in delivering quality construction projects.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of the new construction projects. This includes cost estimation budget management contract administration and the preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ). Your expertise in highrise apartment construction in the USA market will be essential in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting detailed cost estimates and feasibility studies for new construction projects.
• Preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents.
• Managing project budgets and financial forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluating subcontractor and supplier bids and negotiating contracts.
• Monitoring project costs and identifying costsaving opportunities.
• Providing accurate financial reporting and cost analysis.
• Collaborating closely with project managers and engineers to optimize project efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or related field.
• Proven 10 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in new construction projects with a focus on highrise apartments in the USA.
• Strong understanding of USA construction practices codes and regulations.
• Experience in remote work environments preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word Excel)
• Construction estimating software experience (e.g. Planswift or CostX) a must
