Who we are

We provide onestop solutions using geospatial data from its own SAR satellites in line with its mission to create a progressive world based on real data. We are building a constellation of our own small SAR satellites to provide data and analytic information to governments and commercial entities.

We are the only company in the world with the capabilities to both develop and operate its own satellites and provide analytics solutions. We offer subscriptionbased solutions and new solution development with collaborative prototyping:

• Infrastructure development
• Energy and natural resources development
• Disaster risk management

We have already successfully launched two satellites and are aiming to launch six satellites by 2023 and a constellation of 30 satellites around 2026. According to our calculations if we can operate 30 small SAR satellites we will be able to acquire and analyze local ground data within two hours of a disaster anywhere in the world and provide information that will contribute to decisionmaking in disaster response. Even if an earthquake flood or other disaster occurs during the nighttime and it is difficult for people to enter the area we will be able to quickly observe and confirm the situation.

Roles and Responsibility

New Space

  In preparation for the mass production of the StriX satellite you will be tasked with establishing an efficient manufacturing system while emphasizing quality cost and speed. Moreover you will oversee the entire production process identifying challenges and devising solutions to enhance production and manufacturing processes.

  Specifically your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing manufacturing processes
  • Improving manufacturing processes (promoting automation and efficiency)
  • Standardizing manufacturing and assembly operations (developing methods work procedures and creating work instructions)
  • Collaborating with specialized teams to identify the causes of issues and propose improvements in case of malfunctions
  • Arranging and managing assembly tools
  • Planning introducing evaluating and managing manufacturing equipment including handling malfunctions
  • Coordinating and negotiating with various specialized teams external partners and suppliers involved in inhouse satellite development.

  You should be able to commute to our factory located in Yamato Kanagawa Prefecture.

  We are looking for candidates with manufacturing technology experience who have at least one of the following:

  • Experience in designing manufacturing processes or process development.
  • Experience in constructing manufacturing or assembly processes or in improving processes.
  • Experience in setting up manufacturing lines.

  In addition you should have at least a conversational level of English and fluency in Japanese.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing technology for assembly processes in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in manufacturing technology for artificial satellites.
• Experience in using 3D CAD.
• Experience with space environment testing.
• Experience in fixture design.
• Experience in negotiations with suppliers.

• Based on experience ability and previous work experience
• Personnel evaluation system every 6 months

Hours: Flextime system

• Core time from 11:00 15:00
• 2 days off a week (weekends) including Japanese public holidays
• 10 days of paid time leave granted first year with an increment of 1 day every following year (ex. 11 days in the second year) up to a maximum in accordance with Japans labor laws.
