Introduction

The field of sales has become quite broad nowadays. What was broadly categorized into B2B/B2C has further subdivided and specialized demanding a deeper understanding of customers in the market.

In this position the role of sales that we advocate is to build connections with independent authors and continuously deliver entertainment to users through DLsite.

Surely as a business professional you already have your own framework. You have been active in positions responsible for the distribution of products and content.

However perhaps:

We need individuals who can view things from multiple perspectives without being confined by the industry and consider and judge not only revenue but also the sentiments of content creators.

This is an overall front position in the interaction with doujinshi artists representing the company internally. The clear mission of this position is to increase the number of works. To increase the number of works you will act as a consultant to doujinshi artists similar to an editorial role.

Currently as we are expanding overseas through translating content on the service you may lead translation licensing agreements. You may also collaborate horizontally with the marketing department to devise strategies aligned with our goals. Additionally the service not only distributes manga and illustrations but also game content. We are implementing strategies to expand these to more users by transitioning from browserbased operation to appbased.

We aim to design tasks to be assigned according to your aptitude.

Specific Job Responsibilities

• Consultation with artists
• Acquisition of translation licensing for works
• Acquisition of app licensing for game works
• Planning and execution of new service operations
• Proposal and coordination of collaborations with other companies
• Planning expansion based on numerical management and market conditions etc.

Assigned Organization We anticipate assigning this position to the doujinshi team in the Business Promotion Department. This team consists of members who interact with doujinshi artists within the department focused on promoting business.

Within each team there are two main functions for task delegation:

• Sales function to acquire works
• Operational function from releasing acquired works on the platform to making them sell

There are members in charge of sales operations data registration etc.

• Remote work: You can choose to come to the office at least 3 times a week or be fully remote depending on the teams policy.
• There will be no relocation.

Annual Salary:JPY

• Based on experience ability and previous work experience
