Job Description

On behalf of our trusted Client we are currently looking for

Head of People
Remote

Location: Fully remote with occasional travel to a major city in Poland.

Role Overview:

Our client seeks a dedicated and handson Interim Head of People to lead their HR team during this transformative period. This is not just a managerial role; it requires a true practitioner who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive into the work. The current team is small and needs a leader who can both guide and work alongside them. The Interim Head of People will play a crucial role in managing the acquisition process on the clients side.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing the HR team ensuring efficient and effective current HR processes (satisfaction surveys evaluation processes learning & development).
  • Collaborating with the acquiring company to implement and refine HR strategies policies and procedures.
  • Providing expert advice and support to managers and Clevel executives.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal standards and managing employee relations.
  • Managing companys internal communications.
  • Fostering a positive work environment onboarding and retention.
  • Managing the integration process related to the acquisition.
  • Cooperating with other internal departments (e.g. Delivery Recruitment Legal Finance IT)
  • Occasionally travelling to a major city in Poland to meet with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in both English and Polish (C1 level minimum).
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in the IT industry (HRBP HR Lead HoP or similar).
  • Extensive knowledge of HR processes and legal requirements.
  • Proven experience working with or advising managers or Clevel executives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing acquisition or integration processes is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally within Poland despite the role being fully remote.
