About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Frontend Developer for one of our esteemed clients in the Chicago area. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in frontend development leading teams and a strong understanding of both frontend and backend technologies. This is a hybrid role requiring the candidate to be local to Chicago.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of frontend developers providing guidance and mentorship.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement user interfaces and ensure seamless integration with backend services.
• Develop and maintain efficient reusable and reliable code.
• Create query and manipulate databases and develop and integrate APIs.
• Work on cloudbased solutions and deployment (Azure Cloud AKS ACA Kubernetes).
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills:

• Experience: 10 years as a Frontend Developer with at least 5 years in a lead role.
• Frontend Technologies: HTML CSS Bootstrap React.js.
• API Development: Proficient in Spring Boot Apollo Node.js.
• Databases: Experience with Oracle Cosmos Neo4j.
• Cloud: Expertise in Azure Cloud AKS ACA Kubernetes.

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven experience in frontend and backend integration.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
