Job Title: IT Business Systems Analyst Principal
Location: Juno Beach FL
Job Description:
Our Enterprise GIS team seeks a business systems analyst with strong functional knowledge and a background in Esri Geospatial Platform. They will work to drive the strategy and develop standards for a scalable Enterprise GIS Platform to enable endtoend geospatial workflows and content distribution across multiple business units.
Essential Skills
5 7 years experience as a GIS Developer
Business Application and Data Architecture experience
Experience defining roadmaps and standards
Design solutions that include business innovation and transformation improved process workflows UI/UX
Decompose a business request into meaningful capabilities and processes
Excellent communication skills
Successfully demonstrated leadership and influential skills in a complex organization
Adept at creative solution development drive to innovate and automate
Used to agile fastpaced dynamic project environments
Handson with application development system configuration and support.
Desired Technical / GIS Skills & Experience:
3 years experience with Esri Platform cloud deployments
Handson implementation experience in AWS for Esri Solutions
Applicable AWS Certifications (preferred)
Kubernetes or Docker Certification (preferred)
Strong understanding of GIS best practices and functionality
Familiarity with designing/supporting Enterprise Imagery Services and Analytics best practices
Job Overview
This position develops and maintains highlevel designs for overall logical and technical IT architecture. Employees in this role provide leadership strategic decisionmaking and guidance within technical disciplines responding to disruptive technologies and solving unique and complex problems. Individuals facilitate and orchestrate the delivery of targeted business outcomes through technical decisions. Leaders in this job serve as toplevel experts and visionaries in developing roadmaps strategies and designs for assigned technology areas.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Works with business partners to analyze strategy spatial requirements and trends to define the requirements principles and models that guide technology decisions
Communicates and enforces technology standards with business partners
Understands industry trends and the practical application of existing new and emerging technologies
Drives digital innovation and develops roadmaps through new technologies and approaches to fulfill strategic business plans
Defines highlevel migration plans to address gaps in current state
Coaches mentors and leads technical subject matter experts to enable and drive consistency across technology architectures
Designs and owns governance assurance and standards activities for enterprise technology architecture compliance
Oversees and facilitates the evaluation risk assessment selection and design of hardware and software technology and product standards
Delivers technology architecture artifacts possibly including reference architectures or concepts of operation
Installs configures and optimizes Enterprise GIS Solutions
Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned
Administers and troubleshoots Enterprise GIS
Oversees the translation of design into deliverables via implementation and deployment
Required Qualifications
High School Grad / GED
Bachelors or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 5 years
