Shift: Variable Start Times Floating locations and call required. 5x8s

Hiring Timeline: In Two weeks

Certifications: IAHCSMM or CBSPD

Requirements:

Minimum 1 years of experience as SPD Tech

• Collect clean sterilize and prepare equipment and surgical instruments in a timely manner per establishedprotocol.
• Maintain ability to operate required equipment in accordance with manufacturer instruction andestablished procedure.
• Maintain knowledge of asepsis proper decontamination and use of personal protectiveequipment in decontamination area.
• Assist in maintaining department inventories per established procedure.Maintain knowledge of Sterilization criteria and principles.
• Maintain Central Service equipment.
• CompleteEngineering work order requests in an accurate and timely manner.
• Pick supplies per established procedure.
• Maintain ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office (Outlook) and department specific software applicationsto perform work.
• Communicate effectively and cooperatively in the workplace.
• Actively contribute to theachievement of Quality Improvement and Lean Process Improvement activities.
• Complete all mandatorylearning requirements in a timely manner.
• Maintain current licensure and/or certification as required.
• Attendand actively participate in all department team and/or committee meetings. Comply with all Skagit RegionalHealth department and location specific policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned bySupervisor or designee.
• Floating to Cascade Valley as needed
