Job Description
Simulation Engineer OR FEA/CAE Engineer location: Champaign IL Onsite work only Fulltime only Salary $8590K/Y
Note: Previous Caterpillar experience is a plus (not mandatory).
Candidate Responsibilities
This role will support the virtual product validation of earth movers & mining equipment. Key contributions will include FEA modelling analysis post processing and create report with lead support.
Education Requirement
Bachelors degree in engineering Required Mechanical or equivalent
Technical & Tool Skills
Good in result interpretation and proposing the new design based on the result. Machines with heavy structures experience is must. Caterpillar experience is advantageous.
Good understanding of vibration and NonLinear Bolted joint analysis
Candidate should have FEA Experience of 46 Years in the below tools. (CAE/FEA)
1. Abaqus (Must)
2. NX Nastran
3. NX Modeling
4. Hypermesh (Must)
5. Python Scripting (Good to have)
