Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for clients including evaluating dietary intake lifestyle and medical history. Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans tailored to Clients specific needs goals and health conditions focusing on preventive care. Provide counseling and education on healthy eating habits dietary modifications and nutritional requirements to prevent chronic diseases. Monitor clients progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans to ensure effective prevention strategies. Collaborate with healthcare providers and Medix team members to integrate dietary recommendations into overall health care and preventive strategies. Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in nutrition science preventive health and dietary guidelines. Lead group workshops seminars and community outreach programs on various nutritionrelated topics emphasizing prevention and wellness. Document and maintain accurate client records including assessments plans and progress notes. Participate in community outreach programs to promote nutrition wellness and preventive health measures. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
Skills and Personal Qualities:
- Bachelors degree in nutrition Dietetics or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
- State licensure (if applicable).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a clinical or community nutrition setting with a focus on preventive care is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of current dietary guidelines nutrition trends and preventive health measures.
- Excellent communication counseling and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create personalized nutrition plans and track client progress effectively.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with nutrition research particularly in prevention.
- Highly collaborative spirit
- Familiarity with specialized diets (e.g. glutenfree diabetic ketogenic) and their preventive benefits.
- Knowledge of public health nutrition and community wellness programs focused on prevention.
- English And Hindi fluency.
